~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tagalog and Bisaya(cebuano) words that have the same spelling or pronunciation but different meanings.  I think there are some Bisaya(ilonggo) and Bisaya(waray) with the same words.  Be careful.
Libang (I guess a lot of people are familiar with this word)
• Tagalog – to have fun. Bisaya – to take a dump.
Baril
• Tagalog – gun. Bisaya – drum (barrel).
Langgam
• Tagalog – ant. Bisaya – bird.
Suroy
• Tagalog – to go zigzag. Bisaya – to go around or just cruise around.
Kuyog
• Tagalog – to beat up. Bisaya – to go with or come along.
Banga
• Tagalog – jar. Bisaya – useless (although not all Cebuano-speaking islands use this word).
Bira
• Tagalog – banatin (pull). Bisaya – banatan (punch/beat up).
Panakot
• Tagalog – something used for scaring. Bisaya – spices (bawang, sibuyas, etc).
• Tagalog – blind. Bisaya (pronounced as boolag) – to separate, to divide.
Hapit (different pronunciations)
• Tagalog – On the edge,Sagad. Bisaya – to fetch, to pick up, or ‘daanan’.
Aso (different pronunciations)
• Tagalog – dog. Bisaya (pronounced as uhsaw) – smoke.
Lagot (different pronunciations)
• Tagalog – expression for “you’re dead meat”. Bisaya (pronounced like maggot) – to get mad.
Libog
• Tagalog – arouse or horny. Bisaya – confused.
Lagay
• Tagalog – to put. Bisaya – balls/testicles
Baga
·     Tagalog – Burning, too much heat.  Bisaya – thick.
Taas
Utong
A cousin of mine from Dumaguete visited us back in 1993, he wanted to go swimming so we went. While we were in the swimming pool he said “sisisid ako cuz, mataas ang utong ko tingnan mo!”, and then people around us started to have this funny look on their faces.
  5. Siguro sa wala pa ang tagalog ug ubang mga pulong, aduna nakanay bisaya, kay ang usa ka pulong nagkadaiya ug gipasabot sa matag sinultihan sa Pilipinas, gawas lang kong bisaya cebuano ka, kay halos pariha lang ug mauy pinaka daghan nga tawo sa Pilipinas...
    PERO MAKA LINGAW KONG IMUHA GAYUD NGA MAKATUNAN ANG TANANG LALOM NGA PULONG, PARA MASUBAY NIMO ANG MGA BAGO KARUN NGA PINULONGAN...
